Applying at the end of the Summer 1 Session Round 2. If your application to a limited enrolment program is successful, your status will be "Invited" until you accept it or the offer expires see chart. If you miss the deadline to accept the offer, you must wait until the next request period to apply. When your status is "Active," you are enrolled in that program. If your application to a limited program was refused, you must have an alternate active program on ACORN.

You may enrol in only one co-op or limited enrolment specialist program. If you are invited to more than one, accept the one you want and delete the others.

If you are waiting for a reply to a limited enrolment program application, temporarily select an acceptable combination of unlimited programs to continue adding courses. You can make changes to your program s as your academic career progresses. Non-degree and visiting students cannot select a program. The transfer credit process will begin after receipt of an offer of admission. Students applying to transfer from other post-secondary institutions must pay a processing fee contact the Admissions and Student Recruitment Office for details and submit all documentation specified in their offer of admission.

Transfer credit assessments for domestic institutions may take weeks and transfer credit decisions for international institutions may take up to 6 weeks. Please do not enrol in courses at UTSC that duplicate prior studies. Note that during busy times of the year, the processing time for letters may increase to up to 10 business days. Please note that you should wait to order your final transcript until after your degree conferral appears on your complete academic history in ACORN. What is degree conferral? Your degree conferral is the date on which your degree was granted. If you have already graduated with a three-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and wish to upgrade your degree to a four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science, or to an Honours Bachelor of Arts or Honours Bachelor of Science degree, please contact your College Registrar's Office.

Please note that you can only upgrade to a degree of the same type; for example, if you have completed a three-year Bachelor of Arts you can only upgrade to a four-year Bachelor of Arts or an Honours Bachelor of Arts. If you are upgrading your degree, you will not be eligible to attend a Convocation ceremony.

If you are upgrading to an Honours Bachelor of Arts or Honours Bachelor of Science degree, you will be eligible to exchange your existing diploma for an Honours diploma at the Office of Convocation after the Convocation period has ended.

If you are upgrading to a four-year degree, you are not eligible for a new diploma; the completion of the four-year degree will be noted on your transcript. Skip to main content.
