Comment by Spiritseekr Ok so after killing some things on the Zoram Strand and not getting much of a result, I went into Blackfathom Deeps and wiped out all the scaley type creatures there. Naga, crabs, and Murloc. The result after about 30 minutes was as follows: 6 Clam meat, 62 tangy clam meat, 2 turtle meat, 4 small lustrous pearl, 17 crawler claw, 17 crawler meat.

Recommendation: Go into BFD to get tangy clam meat amongst other types of useful things to cook. Comment by Mariabia Ok, I really do not get where to find them in Stranglethorn Vale, it's very confusing and time wasting So, I suggest no one goes there to look for Tangy Clam Meat!

Comment by Confirmed that BFD is the best place for farming tangy clam meat. Not inside the instance, just the tunnels outside the instance. The nagas re-spawn pretty quickly. The mobs there used to be level 30 but they are now level 20ish. The only place left is Blackfathom Deeps. Comment by vatas I killed Naga outside Blackfathom Dephts and inside. Go to the big island north of Booty bay. You will find Nagas there. On those nagas you get clam called Thick - Shelled Clam those give you the Tangy Clam Meat and you get them here fast.. Have fun. One of the things that isn't really mentioned is that in the circular pool around Ghamoo-Ra the big turtle boss , there are a bunch of Giant Clams scattered about on the pool floor.

If you swim around and open these, you'll usually find between 1 and 3 Tangy Clam Meats inside. If you're high level enough to not aggro anything between the instance portal and the pool, you can just run in, farm, run out, reset and repeat. You don't even have to kill anything, although the murlocs and naga in the instance drop Thick Shelled Clams pretty regularly too. Comment by Bishin Level 85 Troll shaman.. Also, the Murlocs drop Clam Meat much more commonly then Tangy, so if you want some of that stuff as well, go murloc run.

Otherwise, I recommend naga side, or better yet, Snapjaws Refer to my comment at top of page. Comment by if your in your mid 20s go east of tarren mill to the stream that runs north to south and kill the turtles there they drop the clams tho not the best drop rate its a good shot to get at low lvl.

They can contain 3 tangy clam meat per clam. He did a particular bit in which he mentioned the words "zesty" and "tangy" and their uselessness outside of advertisement.

Comment by Smrth alongside the shore in Hillsbrad Foothills there are Daggerspine naga.. It is the small island full of naga north of Booty Bay.
